When adding the final touches to my final design i wanted to show the history and retro style coming through from my inspirations. By doing this i saved my second design and placed it into photoshop. From there on i selected a rough texture, i played with some rough paper, walls and wood. i went with wood as it fitted with my design the best. By blending the two images i placed the wood image behind the logo and selected ‘multiply’ on the side bar giving me a half and half opacity image giving the overall logo an aged look.

here is a showcase of the different colours i experimented with before applying the texture. I went with number 6 in the end as it related best with the research behind my idea and i felt suited the logo the most.
